Required are ARRT CT certification, NJ license and CPR/BLS. One year of CT experience is preferred; strong communication and the ability to work under supervision are essential in a fast-paced health-system setting.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT CT registration.
• Existing employees must obtain advanced CT Certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT Scanner following physician orders and prepare patients.
• Assist patients onto scanner and verify patient identification.
• Archive exams to PACS and ensure RIS documentation is complete.
• Maintain department order and stay current with CT procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the care team.
