Job summary

The Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner and follow physician orders. You will assist patients, verify IDs, select exams from the worklist, and ensure images are archived in PACS and RIS.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, NJ license and CT experience. The position features a night shift (every other Saturday, 11 p.m.–7 a.m.) and one holiday per year, with opportunities to stay current on new CT procedures and work with a dedicated radiology

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; NJ license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience with patient positioning and radiation safety principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner per physician orders and protocol.
• Assist patients onto the scanner and verify patient identification.
• Select exams from worklist and ensure proper archiving in PACS and RIS.
• Maintain work areas and stay current with evolving CT procedures.
