Job summary

The Valley Hospital-Paramus, part of Valley Health System, seeks an Imaging Technologist to perform radiologic procedures and obtain high-quality images for diagnosis. You will verify patient identity, select exams from the worklist, and ensure accurate archiving in PACS and RIS.

Requirements include ARRT registration (or registry eligible within 1 year), NJ DEP license, and CPR certification. Prior radiography experience is preferred, with new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT registration; registry eligible within 1 year.
• Practical experience as a Radiographer preferred; new graduates considered.
• Current CPR certification and NJ DEP license.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment per physician orders.
• Prepare patients and verify identification; select worklist.
• Archive exams to PACS and complete RIS entry accurately.
• Maintain imaging facilities and stay current with protocols.
