Job summary

CANPACK Group is seeking a Quality Control Technician to inspect raw materials and finished products, perform tests, and report results. You will support production with quality feedback, approve finished goods, and contain any out-of-spec items.

The role emphasizes accuracy, traceability, and adherence to BRCGS standards. Responsibilities include sampling, color checks during Litho changes, and collaboration across plant teams to ensure the highest quality of packaging products.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret precision measurements.
• High attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Able to communicate findings and influence teams.
• Experience driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Proficient in running reports and data analysis.
• Familiar with basic and advanced measurement devices.
• Proficient with MS Office and QC software.

Responsibilities

• Take measurements and samples according to the control plan and generate reports.
• Conduct tests using high-tech measurement equipment and update the QC system.
• Monitor CCPs and assess product quality on the line.
• Approve finished goods and contain out-of-spec items per guidelines.
• Analyze quality data and create reports for stakeholders.
• Communicate test results and quality status to the team.
• Collaborate with VSO, plant teams and areas to ensure top quality.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS and understand HARA.
