Job summary

SCN BestCo is seeking a Quality Control Lead to guide a team of QC Technicians in ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance across all lines. You will train staff, investigate issues, and coordinate with production, maintenance, QA, R&D, sanitation and warehouse to uphold GMP standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of QA experience in food or dietary supplements, with strong problem solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of technical Quality Control experience in food or dietary supplement industry.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, training, troubleshooting, investigation, advising, organization and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and training to QC Technicians in collaboration with management.
• Support leadership with product investigations and plant trials.
• Ensure QC team meets product quality standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update documentation including the Hold Log.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, QA, R&D, Sanitation and Warehouse staff.
