Job summary

Curia is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the evening shift in Springfield, MO. You will manage a team of QC Analysts and oversee analytical testing across raw materials, in-process samples, finished APIs, and stability specimens to ensure compliance with cGMP and internal SOPs.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, data integrity, and collaboration with Manufacturing and Quality teams. Strong knowledge of HPLC, UPLC, GC, and other analytical techniques is required, along with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or another scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in a GMP- or GLP-regulated laboratory environment.
• Hands-on experience with chromatography (HPLC/UPLC/GC) and other analytical instruments.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements and FDA regulations.
• Ability to interpret analytical data, troubleshoot, and apply scientific judgment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple activities and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evening-shift and outside hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Control Analysts, creating a supportive and accountable team environment.
• Assign and prioritize daily work to meet testing timelines and manufacturing needs.
• Monitor performance, productivity, and compliance with timely feedback and training.
• Ensure proper training documentation before workers perform tasks.
• Provide technical guidance on SOPs, specifications, and investigations.
