Job summary

SoTalent is seeking a Quality Control Lead Analyst for the night shift in Social Circle, GA to lead a premier biopharmaceutical QC team. You will supervise daily QC workflows, mentor staff, ensure testing and data verification align with production schedules, and drive continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art laboratory.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field and 2+ years in regulated labs, with strong communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience within the pharmaceutical industry or a highly regulated laboratory setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate the activities of a technical team.
• In depth knowledge of cGMP, laboratory best practices, and quality management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a focus on sustainable process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data for various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory workflow and assign tasks to ensure testing timelines are met.
• Provide coaching and technical training to staff to support professional development and performance.
• Conduct routine and complex testing in accordance with established SOPs and cGMP standards.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, including root cause analysis and the implementation of CAPAs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and improve efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory safety through regular site walks and compliance checks.
• Participate in audit preparations and represent the department during internal and external inspections.
• Update and review technical documentation, including job aids and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare performance metrics and present operational updates to senior management.
