Job summary

Graham Packaging Company has an opening for Quality Assurance Technicians based in West Chicago (St. Charles) IL. The position features a rotating 12-hour Night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, with weekly pay and benefits from day one.

As a Quality Technician you will ensure finished product and packaging quality, maintain documentation in Infinity QS, and participate in continuous quality improvements. The role requires 1–3 years in manufacturing and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Strong computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions.
• Effective communication: conveys facts clearly both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, quality GMP compliance and company policies.
• Communicate quality status with supervisors and other shifts.
• Maintain product files in Infinity QS system for QA and production data.
• Analyze statistical data, control charts, and product specifications.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and QA activities.
• Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage held ware and rework processes.
• Train personnel on quality importance and procedures.
• Assist in customer complaint investigations and corrective actions.
• Support QA reporting systems and gage R&R studies.
