Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Production Specialist for a 6:00 AM–6:00 PM shift (4 days one week, 3 days the next).

You will help keep the production area clean, operate case-making equipment, inspect bottles for defects, and support safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Collaborates well with others and supports team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping of the production area and support safe operations.
• Pack bottles, inspect for defects, and ensure proper case sealing.
• Operate case making equipment and keep glue tanks full.
• Notify supervision of quality or equipment issues and assist with rework.
• Assist training of permanent and temporary team members as needed.
