Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in West Chicago (St. Charles) IL for the day shift (6:00 am–6:00 pm, 4 days one week and 3 the next).

The role includes installing and repairing plant equipment, preventive and reactive maintenance, and ensuring safe and compliant operation. Qualified candidates typically have a 2-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance and several years of maintenance experience, with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving

Formación

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Interact with managers, employees, vendors and customers as part of the role.
• Must maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude and customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain production equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.
• Enforce safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Monitor quality levels and adjust processes to ensure product integrity.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test adjustments.
• Provide emergency repairs during operation and scheduled maintenance when needed.
• Read equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Utilize hand and power tools and meters in maintenance tasks.
• Train production employees on proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Limited travel may be required.
