Boston Medical Center is seeking an Operations Supervisor within Public Safety to lead overnight shifts and ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors at BMC South. The role oversees Public Safety Officers, manages staffing and performance, coordinates with clinical leadership and external partners, and ensures regulatory compliance with healthcare security standards.

This position requires 11:30pm–7:30am scheduling and close collaboration with Nursing Supervisors,

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma with 4 years in healthcare security or related field.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, management, or related field.
• Massachusetts LTC license or ability to obtain as a condition of employment.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and oversight to Public Safety Officers and assigned staff on overnight shifts.
• Direct and coordinate responses to safety, security, and behavioral health incidents and investigations.
• Oversee staffing resources, overtime approvals, and scheduling to maintain safe operations.
• Serve as senior on-shift Public Safety representative and liaison with Nursing Supervisors and hospital leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety programs, and healthcare regulatory standards.
