Job summary

MaineHealth's Spring Harbor Hospital seeks a Psychiatric Technician for a night shift, 12-hour rotations. You will provide direct patient care, emotional support, and help implement individualized treatment plans with the treatment team.

As part of the behavioral health unit, you will monitor patients, document observations, and assist with daily living activities, supporting a safe and healing environment. Sign-on bonus available up to $4,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start.
• CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Offer emotional support and assist with individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, psychiatrists, social workers and other team members.
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient behavior.
• Assist with activities of daily living and facilitate group activities.
