Job summary

The MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, ME seeks a Psychiatric Technician to support a safe, therapeutic environment and assist with individualized treatment plans during evening shifts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, current CPR/BLS, CPI/MOAB training within 60 days, and up to six months of Psychiatric Technician experience. Part-time role with 8-hour evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certifications: RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start. CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Experience: Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and emotional support on the unit.
• Support treatment plans and clinical operations through observation and documentation.
• Assist with activities of daily living and facilitate group activities
