Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Psychiatric Technician I for the Adolescent Unit at Spring Harbor Hospital in Westbrook, ME. This part-time night position supports the treatment team, delivering compassionate care and aiding in data collection and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification (or will obtain within 30 days), CPI/MOAB training within 60 days, and less than six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start. Completion of CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Experience: Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting and implement individualized treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team by providing care and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with collection and documentation of data as part of the treatment process.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days

CPI/MOAB training within 60 days
