Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Psychiatric Technician I to support patient care at Spring Harbor Hospital Behavioral Health. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and assisting with data collection, under the guidance of the treatment team.

The position requires either a high school diploma or GED and current RQI/BLS/CPR certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days). CPI/MOAB training within 60 days is also expected.

Qualifications

• Current RQI/BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start.
• CPI/MOAB training within 60 days of start.
• Less than six (6) months of experience as a Psychiatric Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and therapeutic setting and implement individualized treatment plans with the treatment team.
• Provide care and emotional support to patients and assist with collection and documentation of data.
