This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, quality, and on-time production in a fast-paced plant. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong coaching and decision-making skills, and proficiency with production reporting and ERP systems.

Formación

• 2+ years of production supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Must have strong leadership, coaching, and accountability abilities.
• Must be able to read and use production reports to support decisions.
• Must have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must be flexible to cover other supervisors and shifts when needed.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise 50+ employees across the assigned production shift.
• Build strong working relationships with employees, leadership, Maintenance, Quality, and other plant teams.
• Drive production performance across KPIs and lead improvement opportunities and results.
• Review, understand, and utilize production reporting to identify issues, track performance, and support operational decisions.
• Use critical thinking and sound judgment to solve production, staffing, quality, and operational challenges.
• Lead effectively in a high-demand, fast-paced manufacturing environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Identify and lead projects focused on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and improving productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and promote strong housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Utilize the timekeeping system to monitor and approve employee work hours.
• Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance and Quality to ensure optimal production performance and that products meet specifications.
• Ensure employees have the proper training, tools, coaching, and support to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
• Actively lead and participate in plant Safety Committees, OEE workshops, 5S initiatives, Kaizen projects, and other continuous-improvement activities.
• Provide hands-on support on the production floor when needed.
• Provide coverage for other Production Supervisors as business and staffing needs require.
