Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant manufacturing experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years' experience with a minimum 3 years' experience working in a supervisory position.
• Strong Background in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required, with some knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Communicate expectations and monitor production flow to meet goals.
• Manage labor to meet productivity and cost goals by scheduling staff and sequencing work.
• Monitor production activities, identify problems, and troubleshoot causes to develop solutions.
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, communicating them to employees to ensure alignment.
• Create, train, monitor, and evaluate team on safety, quality and standard operating procedures.
• Train and update staff on equipment; maintain training docs.
• Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
• Record, communicate, and maintain required documentation in timely manner.
• Analyze and submit daily reporting on performance and progress as it relates to production, quality, safety, staffing, and regular maintenance duties.
