Catalent is seeking a Supervisor-Production to lead the production crew at the Manassas, VA site. You will supervise daily production, ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement to meet performance goals.

The role emphasizes monitoring performance, managing safety, and mentoring staff, with a Monday–Friday night shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Onsite at Manassas, this position supports SQF and HACCP-compliant operations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in food manufacturing.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, and FQP standards.

Mansioni

• Oversee and direct the planning and execution of daily production activity.
• Ensure any changes in processes and procedures are properly implemented.
• Manage operations to improve performance through continuous improvement and problem analysis to reduce downtime and losses.
• Analyze and complete daily production reports, gap analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use data to interpret and report performance, quality, and safety metrics.
• Oversee sanitation processes for equipment and facility.
• Schedule, train, and mentor crew to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Ensure adequate staffing, direction, and corrective action.
• Direct employees in proper safety procedures and eliminate avoidable accidents.
• Facilitate project work and ensure successful implementation and completion.
• Serve as a training resource for operations crew on skills, safety, and plant processes.
• Support and meet the Company's Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures (OGSM).
• Track, report, and post efficiency and reliability performance of each machine.
• Comply with SQF, Food Safety Plan (HACCP), and Food Quality Plan (FQP) standards.
