Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Hanover, PA is seeking a Processing Operator to join our weekend night shift team on Monday–Thursday, 5:55 PM–5:55 AM. The role focuses on preparing, operating, and monitoring extruder and related equipment for cheese curls and balls production lines.

You will perform equipment operation, QA coordination, raw material staging, and accurate shift-end logging. The position requires good safety practices and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/processing environment preferred.
• Ability to operate extrusion equipment and monitor production lines.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and working on a wet/hot production floor.
• Willing to work Weekend Night Shift (Mon-Thu 5:55PM–5:55AM).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor processing equipment.
• Conduct quality checks with QA team.
• Retrieve and stage raw materials.
• Maintain logs and record material usage.
• Clean and sanitize equipment per procedures.
• Communicate across teams to maintain workflow.
• Train new or less experienced team members.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
• Operate forklift and high-reach equipment as needed.
• Lift items up to 70 lbs and work safely on wet floors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
