Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to perform and evaluate overnight polysomnograms across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent required.
  • Experience with sleep studies and CPAP titration is preferred.
  • Licensed Polysomnographic Technologist by the relevant board or credential needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for sleep studies and patient hookup.
  • Review physician orders and determine appropriate study.
  • Perform data acquisition and monitor patient during study.
  • Score sleep studies and generate reports for physicians.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and lab procedures followed.
