ACL Laboratories is seeking a phlebotomy technician for a 3rd shift (7-on / 7-off) with 10-hour shifts, totaling 35 hours per week in Burlington, WI. The role involves specimen collection from diverse patient groups, ensuring accurate labeling and safe handling per CLIA policies, and contributing to quality assurance and billing support.

No prior experience is required, and full-time benefits eligible employment is available.

Competenze

• Demonstrates knowledge and experience in phlebotomy or related laboratory function.
• Basic computer skills including experience using computer software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Verifies positive patient identification to ensure patient safety.
• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens from newborn, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Ensures specimens are properly labeled and suitable for testing.
• Performs specimen processing, including aliquoting and pre-analytical steps.
• Receives, sorts, and tracks specimens for transport.
• Documents information for quality assurance and improvement.
