Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a dedicated phlebotomist for the 3rd shift at 60164 WI ACL Laboratories – AMC Burlington. This full‑time role features 10‑hour shifts (2030–0630) on a 7‑on/7‑off rotation, with weekends and holidays rotating.

You will verify patient identity, perform venipuncture, collect specimens, label correctly, and assist with testing under CLIA guidelines. You’ll also support billing, inventory, and basic data entry.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures and safety practices.
• Proficiency with computer systems for data entry and results posting.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identification and collects venous blood specimens.
• Labels specimens, processes tests, and ensures proper handling per protocol.
• Performs limited testing under CLIA guidelines and enters results.
• Assists with inventory, billing support, and data entry tasks.
• Supports patient and provider communication in a courteous manner.
