Job summary

You will develop policies, oversee scheduling for 40–50 staff, participate in committees, and drive formulary management and operational projects during night shifts.

Requires Pharm.D. or equivalent with Oklahoma licensure, 3-4 years of related experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited school of Pharmacy; Pharm.D. preferred, D.Ph. will be considered.
• State of Oklahoma Board of Pharmacy license or eligible for License Reciprocity.
• 3-4 years related experience.
• Good organizational, verbal and writing skills.
• Knowledgeable of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Team player, self-motivated, good problem solving skills, effective verbal skills to influence job performance and team building.

Responsibilities

• Participates in department human resource functions (e.g. interviews, orient/train, appraisals, counsel/discipline & staff work schedules and responsibilities).
• Reviews all medication variance reports and allergy interaction reports and implements corrective actions.
• Performs staff pharmacist's drug distribution functions on weekends and as needed (order review, IV admixture, checks of technician work).
• Assists with formulary management to assure cost effective availability of agents and maintain APRS database.
• Provides updates to DOP regarding overtime, staffing and clinical activities.
