Job summary

Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK seeks a Clinical Pharmacist for night shift on a full-time basis. The role focuses on optimizing patient care through safe dispensing, IV admixture, and drug information, with supervision of technicians and students.

Responsibilities include working in a decentralized med-surg environment under the Director of Pharmacy, ensuring compliance and high-quality pharmaceutical services for inpatients.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Completion of an accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or fellowship.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board.
• BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days; ALS/ACLS for Code Blue).

Responsibilities

• Optimize patient care with safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical services including drug dispensing and IV admixture.
• Oversee technicians, students, and support staff in a decentralized med-surg setting.
• Provide drug information and support under direction of Pharmacy leadership.

Responsibilities:

The clinical pharmacist optimizes patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost effective pharmaceutical care including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information. Works under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager and will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. This is a decentralized position supporting med surg.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements

• B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
• Completion of an accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency or fellowship.

OR

• 2+year’s clinical pharmacy experience with no history of residency or fellowship.
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
• Other applicable state requirements - i.e. sterile compounding, etc.
• BLS &ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire;ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue).

Preferred Job Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.
