Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. You will support the Pharmacy Manager, oversee daily pharmacy operations, and ensure safe and accurate dispensing, counseling, and immunization practices.

You will lead the pharmacy team during shifts, manage patient interactions, and strive for excellent patient experiences while complying with state regulations and CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure label accuracy.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate prescriptions, days supply, and bottle counts.
• Issue Resolution: handle challenging interactions and choose best action.
• Physical Demands: perform duties requiring mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, and fine motor skills.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
