• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Live our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Take direction from the Pharmacy Manager and oversee the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts with coaching and follow-up on performance.
• Assist with Pharmacy Manager day-to-day duties when serving as the primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following workflow procedures and safety guardrails at every workstation.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and collaborating with the patient’s healthcare team to resolve issues.
• Proactively offer and deliver immunizations and support technicians to learn immunization practices.
• Support inventory management with focus on protecting cold chain products.
• Partner with Pharmacy Manager to ensure operations comply with state Board regulations; escalate issues when needed.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs; assist with writing the pharmacy schedule as directed.
• Maintain clinical and technical skills with ongoing trainings and CMEs; seek opportunities to expand knowledge for patient care.
• Support access to care and pharmacist-delivered clinical services (e.g., COVID/Flu, Hormonal Contraception) where permissible.
