Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II for Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. This per diem, night-shift position requires current licensure and multiple credentials to support high-quality respiratory care.

Responsibilities include performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, with emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of patient care across age groups.

Qualifications

• Current State RCP license required.
• NBRC RRT credential required or obtain within three months of hire.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• ARC certification upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS certification upon hire and maintain current or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• NRP certification upon hire and maintain current or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• 2 years acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Focus on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care with appropriate age-specific considerations.
• May serve as Lead RCP on the shift, overseeing the section or department during that time.
