Engineered Profiles LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a Wood Blending Operator - Nights to set up and run pellet production lines, ensuring pellets meet customer specs.

This full-time, hourly position on a 12-hour rotating shift offers overtime double-time, 401k with company matching, medical plans, and a quarterly profit-sharing bonus. You will operate equipment, manage materials with a forklift, log daily reports, and contribute to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Sit down and stand up forklift experience required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and acceptable math skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer and handheld scanner.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials used in pelletizing process.
• Able to understand written and verbal instruction and communicate the same.
• Able to learn and retain information on products, operating procedures, quality requirements, set-ups, etc.
• Able to work while standing for long periods (2 to 3 hours) and work in areas with temperatures approaching 115 degrees.
• Able to show constant process improvement, technical troubleshooting skills, team skills and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate necessary equipment to produce pellets that meet customer expectations.
• Start up all machinery and make adjustments to obtain high-quality wood pellet product.
• Perform pellet mill roll resets and daily shift reports.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping by following rules and reporting hazards.
• Ensure quality by auditing, labeling, and visual inspection of size.
• Assist in managing inventory levels of wood pellet formulations.
• Move raw materials and pellets with forklift; dispose as needed.
• Scan transactions to move materials and update inventory.
• Assist in training new trainees and perform other duties as assigned.
