• Good mechanical aptitude.

• Thorough understanding of cGMPs.
• Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
• Knowledge of FSMA.

Responsibilities

• Understand the feed manufacturing process and ingredient flow.
• Follow feed formulation and QA testing per Quality Control.
• Identify quality issues and communicate to QC foreman.
• Keep feed inventory current and accurate.
• Complete operating and production documentation.
• Perform daily maintenance on pellet mill equipment and log reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping for safe operation.
• Assist with repairs and report maintenance problems to supervisor.
• Follow safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Run multiple equipment pieces and assist with other duties as needed.
