Job summary

Orlando Health Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for acute care in the Cardiac PCU. The role supports patients with advanced illnesses requiring high-acuity, complex care.

Day shifts, 3-12s, with opportunities to grow in a state-of-the-art facility. The RN will administer patient care, monitor equipment and patient status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license with BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and cares for patients with high acuity and complex conditions.
• Monitors and interprets patient data and vital signs, including cardiac monitoring.
• Responds to life-threatening situations using established nursing protocols.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans based on patient needs and responses.
• Collaborates with medical staff and the nursing leadership team to coordinate care.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing

RN license in Florida

BLS certification

ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC (where applicable)
