Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Neurology Unit to work night shifts in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week; hours are 7:00pm to 7:30am with every-other weekend.

Orientation sessions run Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm during start week. Responsibilities include assisting patients with personal care, mobility, vital signs, and basic nursing support under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires CNA training and CPR certification.
• Must have completed CNA course and CNA certification exam or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with clinical rotations is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with mobility, position patients for safety and comfort, respond to call lights.
• Take and record vital signs, input/output, accu-checks and document in EMR.
• Support admitting, discharge, transfer, and transport as needed; answer unit phones.
