Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. This role supports safety and patient-centered care during night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am), with a 36-hour work week, including holiday rotations and every other weekend commitments.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; CNA certification is preferred, and no prior experience is required. Benefits eligible position within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required (entry level CNAs accepted).
• Certified Nurse Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under nurse supervision.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and vital signs.
• Documents patient care activities using proper terminology.
• Maintains supply readiness and supports patient safety.
