Progress West Hospital, part of BJC HealthCare, is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide direct patient care under licensed nurses. The role supports ADLs, monitors vital signs, and contributes to a safe, healing environment.

The position is 36 hours per week with days 7:00am–7:00pm, holiday rotation, every other weekend. CNA certification required; high school diploma or GED accepted. Benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Preferred CNA, nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician experience.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certificate: Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living under nurse supervision.
• Collect vital signs and basic patient data.
• Document care using medical terminology and support patient safety.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are available.
• Contribute to patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
