Job summary

Preferred Parking Service, LLC is seeking a part-time Operations Attendant for the Asheville, NC area. The role involves enforcing parking rules, issuing tickets, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of the parking areas.

You will use your own vehicle for work with monthly mileage reimbursement after validation of registration and insurance. Responsibilities include assisting customers, handling transactions, monitoring traffic, operating gates and payment systems, and reporting incidents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, parking, or facility operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with parking inquiries, directions, and payment instructions.
• Provide information on parking rates, passes, and facility policies.
• Handle customer complaints or elevate issues to management as needed.
• Monitor daily parking activities to ensure smooth traffic flow and proper use of spaces.
• Operate and troubleshoot entry/exit gates, ticket machines, and payment systems.
• Assist during peak hours, special events, or emergencies to manage vehicle flow.
• Check for valid parking permits and passes.
• Issue citations or notices for violations in accordance with company policy.
