Job summary

Preferred Parking Service, LLC in Asheville, NC is seeking a full-time Operations Attendant to enforce parking rules, assist customers, and maintain safety across lots and garages. This is a first shift role with weekend requirements; you will use your own vehicle for work and mileage is reimbursed monthly.

Responsibilities include monitoring traffic, operating gates and payment systems, issuing citations as needed, and reporting incidents to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, parking, or facility operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with parking inquiries, directions, and payment instructions.
• Provide information on parking rates, passes, and facility policies.
• Handle customer complaints or elevate issues to management as needed.
• Monitor daily parking activities to ensure smooth traffic flow and proper use of spaces.
• Operate and troubleshoot entry/exit gates, ticket machines, and payment systems.
• Assist during peak hours, special events, or emergencies to manage vehicle flow.
• Check for valid parking permits and passes.
• Issue citations or notices for violations in accordance with company policy.
