Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED
• Experience: 1 year driving experience preferred
• License: Driver’s License
• Age: Must be at least 21 years of age
• Compliance: Must maintain an acceptable driving record and pass MVR, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Safety & Inspection: Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment in accordance with company standards. Ensure all safety features are operational before beginning route.
• Execution: Review assigned routes thoroughly prior to departure. Be proactive in asking clarifying questions if the route or expectations are unclear. Complete assigned jobs within the allotted timeframe while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Equipment Operation: Operate equipment safely and efficiently at all times, following traffic laws, company safety procedures, and site-specific protocols. Exercise additional caution during inclement weather or challenging site conditions.
• Material Handling: Handle materials safely and securely; Apply correct procedures for material types and disposal sites.
• Reporting: Report any equipment issues, malfunctions, near misses, crashes, or injuries within 30 minutes or as soon as safely possible. Escalate issues to management.
• Professional Communication: Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company on job sites or in public areas. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients when needed.
• Compliance & Documentation: Accurately complete required logs, manifests, and forms.
• Adaptability & Problem Solving: Respond appropriately to changes and challenges; identify and solve issues timely.
• Regular & Predictable Attendance: Report to work on time and as scheduled with minimal unexcused absences.
