Sweeping Corporation of America is hiring an Overnight Parking Lot Sweeper for a full-time, third-shift position at our Newark, Delaware location. The role involves operating a parking lot sweeper, performing routine inspections, and ensuring clean, safe parking areas for customers and staff.

You will follow routes, maintain equipment safety, document activities, and communicate professionally with teammates and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• Experience: 1 year driving experience; waste & recycling services experience preferred.
• License: Driver’s License required.
• Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
• Compliance: Must pass MVR check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Route Execution: Review routes, complete work on time with quality.
• Safety & Inspections: Complete pre- and post-trip inspections; equipment must be safe.
• Equipment & Material Handling: Operate equipment safely; follow laws and site protocols.
• Reporting & Documentation: Log and report equipment issues and safety concerns.
• Professional Communication: Represent the Company professionally with supervisors, team members and clients.
• Adaptability & Reliability: Maintain regular, predictable attendance and adapt to changing conditions.
