Job summary

GEOTEK is seeking a Paint Booth Operator in Stewartville, MN to manage repaints in the Paint Booth, including sanding, prepping and painting. You will ensure safety, quality and efficiency of booth operations and assist in other plant areas as needed.

Shift is nights, Monday–Thursday, 5:00p–3:30a. Must read and write English, read a tape measure, and lead with minimal supervision while collaborating with teams to meet quality, productivity and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write English for work instructions and reporting.
• Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure.
• Able to work and lead with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills.
• Strong emphasis on quality, productivity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Paint repainted product from Pultrusion department.
• Record chemical usage accurately.
• Paint product according to Geotek quality standards.
• During slow times, work in Pultrusion/Secondary/Packaging/Shipping as needed.
• Improve Paint Booth area processes and efficiency.
• Support inventory and EPA emissions reporting by timely reporting all chemical usages.
