Job summary

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Sand surfaces with an air sander; apply sand poly and primer; verify removal of spatter and slag; apply filler for a smooth finish.
• Measurement & Documentation: Measure pre- and post-sand dry mill thickness; record measurements with proper devices; complete all paperwork accurately.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily maintenance on paint prep equipment; clean paint booths and lights; change filters; keep area organized and production-ready.
• Safety & Operation: Identify and mask non-designated paint areas; operate tuggers, lifts and other machinery; wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Coordination & Organization: Coordinate workflow with team; maintain a clean, orderly, efficient workspace.
