Job summary

SOUTHERN CHAMPION TRAY LLC is seeking a Packer Technician at its Amnicola Plant in Chattanooga, TN. You will support the operator in safely setting up, maintaining, and operating the auto-packer to meet the target run speed, while assisting with problem statements and quality sampling.

The role requires night shifts (5 days/8 hours), attention to safety, and ability to work with high-speed equipment in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and understand documents in English; basic math and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot the auto-packer and assist the gluer as needed.
• Feed product into the gluer and pack finished items into cases.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow 5S and food safety practices.
• Assist with quality sampling and data entry related to production tickets.
