Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global Inc. is seeking a reliable Packaging Operator for the 3rd shift in Blaine, MN. You will operate packaging equipment, perform in-process quality checks, and support cleaning and changeovers to maintain efficient production.

The role requires basic troubleshooting, adherence to GMP and safety procedures, and strong teamwork and communication to ensure smooth operations and quality results. This is a full-time on-site position with a focus on minimizing waste and rejections.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment during production runs while following safety and quality standards.
• Perform operator duties within the work center, including: In-process quality inspections.
• Manual filling and packaging.
• Loading machinery with components.
• Assist with basic equipment set-ups and changeovers.
• Communicate effectively with Mechanics, Process Coordinators, and Supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
• Disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment according to cleaning and line clearance procedures.
• Assist with equipment cleaning, inspection, and preparation activities.
• Perform line clearance of components and product mass.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues and assist in resolving failure modes.
• Notify Supervisors, Process Coordinators, and Mechanics of component shortages or operational concerns.
• Provide detailed shift crossover communication to incoming operators.
• Monitor attainment boards and production efficiency goals.
• Complete production and operational paperwork accurately and timely.
