Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in Minnesota is hiring a packaging operator for the 3rd shift to setup and operate packaging equipment and ensure product quality.

You will work on the packaging line, handle sanitation, and support shipping functions. The role is union-based with competitive pay and benefits. Able to stand up to 12 hours, forklift experience preferred, and strict adherence to GMP, HACCP, and safety standards is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or its equivalency in experience and/or training.
• Ability to do basic math and computation skills as well as possess verbal and written skills.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, packaging needs and/or deviations making adjustments as necessary.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance and hold non-conforming product.
• Set up packers for all products; change packaging film, colored bands, and Thermal ribbons.
• Pull broken trays and/or foreign matter from line; operate tray washer.
• Adhere to GMPs, Personal Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and SQF Rules; follow Baldinger Code of Conduct.
