Job summary

Qualifications

• Two year certificate from college or technical school, or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English.
• Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitors packaging and palletizing equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Performs and documents line checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots, removes, installs, disassembles, repairs and assembles plant equipment.
• Follows lockout procedures and operates forklifts and man lifts safely.
• Supports safety programs and emergency response requirements as needed.
