Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. in Boardman, OR is seeking a Process Mechanic I-Trainee for a 12-hour shift. You will diagnose maintenance problems, install and set up equipment, and monitor receiving and processing lines to maximize uptime.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 months of related experience. You will read prints, follow safety rules, perform preventative maintenance, and work with a team to support plant production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions and manuals.
• Willingness to adhere to GMP and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe work practices and participates in safety programs.
• Performs line checks and preventative maintenance (PM), including lubrication and inspection.
• Troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts processing equipment; replaces belts, bearings, motors, pumps, etc.
• Performs non-routine maintenance and emergency repairs with minimal supervision.
• Reads and communicates in English using prints, diagrams, and work orders.
