Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Orthopedic Unit at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position offers nights (7:00pm–7:30am) with every other weekend.

The role involves patient assessment, care planning, and education, within a Magnet-designated care environment. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree or BSN, has Illinois nursing licensure, and current CPR certification.

Formación

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois is required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and families in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
