Job summary

ITS Logistics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dispatcher to monitor shipments, maintain driver relations, and provide timely, accurate updates to customers within the assigned network. Responsibilities

• Track and trace shipments within the ITS network.
• Maintain relationships with drivers and provide support as needed.
• Produce timely and accurate communication to customers within the network.
• Review handoffs each shift and monitor network status daily.
• Use technology to track orders for on-time delivery.
• Ensure loads are on time and updates are sent per cadence.
• Escalate delays or issues to the appropriate chain of command.
• Work efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Position

• Tracking and tracing current shipments in the ITS network.
• Maintaining relationships with drivers and provide support as needed.
• Producing timely and accurate communication to all customers within the assigned network.
• Reviewing and communicating effective handoffs each shift and understanding the state of the network daily.
• Utilizing technology to properly track orders for on time delivery.
• Ensuring loads are on time and track and trace updates are sent per the required cadence.
• Escalating concerns, delays, loss failures, loss of revenue and other issues with shipments to appropriate chain of command.
• Work efficiently with a high level of accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in the transportation industry preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work evening and midnight hours.
• Good communication skills, including professional business writing, verbal communication, and documentation in TMS.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• High level "grit" with the ability to persevere and manage issues successfully in high stress situations.
