Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) to gain hands-on experience in key functions of a Night Operations role. You will train under a structured program with mentorship and leadership development and collaborate with Store Managers, ASMs, NRMs, and field teams to drive sales and store profitability.

During the up-to-6-week training, you will learn to execute OASM responsibilities, lead by example, and uphold all company policies.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
3 years of work experience in a retail or store leadership context.

Responsibilities

Customer experience: supervise associates and promote service culture; address concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Operations management: perform opening/closing manager-on-duty duties; uphold SOPs and safety compliance; manage shrink and process accuracy.
Safety: enforce hazmat and safety guidelines consistently.
Sales and productivity: plan merchandise placement, signing, and inventory integrity; oversee store equipment and systems.
Training: engage in a structured program to prepare for an Assistant Manager role, including staffing, performance management, and policy adherence.
