Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT). This program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership development focused on overnight freight operations and key store functions.

During training, NOASM-ITs will work with Store Manager and NRMs to develop sales game plans, manage SOPs, and learn to lead by example in customer service, safety, and operations. This role offers structured progression toward an Assistant Manager position.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in retail or store operations.
• Ability to lead, train, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight freight operations and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in opening/closing MOD and store-wide procedures.
• Drive customer service and associate engagement while in training.
• Coordinate with NRMs and Store Manager to develop action plans.
• Complete the formal training program covering retail management aspects.
