Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to lead overnight merchandising, ensure stock and presentation, and deliver a positive member experience. The role directs the overnight team and acts as Manager on Duty as needed, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with department managers, maintain GOLD standards, manage inventory controls, and support cross-functional operations. Forklift certification is required and open shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or management experience preferred.
• Forklift operator required.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must maintain all training and required certifications.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight merchandising execution with purpose and leadership.
• Support staffing, training, and task execution for forklift operators and merchandising teams.
• Oversee overnight activities to ensure morning readiness and GOLD standards.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and availability across the sales floor.
• Escalate concerns promptly and ensure safe equipment usage.
