Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Night Manager for overnight merchandising leadership and club operations. You will ensure proper stocking, presentation, and availability of merchandise, while acting as Manager on Duty as needed to support member experience.

You will coordinate forklift operations, train overnight staff, uphold GOLD standards, and maintain safety, inventory, and club performance during the night shift.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or management experience in wholesale/retail preferred.
• Forklift operator certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight merchandising execution with purpose and provide hands-on leadership.
• Support execution of merchandising tasks across overnight shifts.
• Assist in staffing, training, and task execution for forklift operators and merchandising teams.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and availability for start-of-business readiness.
• Oversee inventory controls, daily Hot List, and pallet/tag accuracy.
• Promote audit readiness and compliance with safety and policy standards.
• Comply with club policies and procedures and maintain regular attendance.
